The Range
The range is situated in a separate building adjacent to the climbing wall. This building is used both for Archery and Air Rifle Shooting. Because this room is multifunctional only one activity can be run at a time in this building, however we do have a new outdoor range. Please bear this in mind when booking activities.
Air Rifle Shooting
This activity is run as per scout POR guidelines all our instructors are National Small Bore Rifle Assoc. (NSRA) authorised and we use 0.177 air rifles. The range is 10yds. again for safety reasons we limit ourselves to 8 years and above.
The range is sufficient to enable the requirements of the Master at Arms award to be met, both for Shooting and Archery.
This is our new outdoor range, available for Air rifle shooting, weather permitting.
