Broadwater Scout Campsite

The site is primarily self funding however our larger project we seek external funding to assist in the development of the campsite to accommodate residential and camping facilities along with adventurous activities for Scouts – Guides and all other youth organisations and special needs.
WE ARE COMMITTED TO SERVE OUR VISITORS

Since 1968 Broadwater has been a scout campsite, we have 5 main buildings dating from 1939 War time army & POW Camp the site covers an area of 6 acres, which is leasehold and this lasts until 2027.

In 2010 we secured funding from the Peoples Millions part of the Big Lottery Fund and has been used to refurbished the parish rooms and this work was completed in October 2011 with the opening of Skips Retreat.
