This has been introduced for our Cub Weekend in 2009, and was a great hit with the children. Therefore it has now been included as one of the sites regular activities.

As can be seen the greasy pole spans a 15ft punge pool. The activity is very simple 2 players cross the pole from opposite sides, they then hit each other with a bag of wet sponges until one player falls into the water. This is a leader lead activity and is available from April till the end of September, all safety equipment is provided. It can be used by young people from 8yrs old to 18 yrs. Great fun on a warm day.
